We'll take a look at new language features in Visual Basic 2008 (Version 9):
- Extenstion Methods
- Nullable types
- IF operator
- Anonymous Types (Var)
- Implicit Typing
- Object and Array Initializors
- XML support
- LINQ
While some of these features stand on thier own, many of them are part of the language to facilitate LINQ. We'll take a look at LINQ-to-Objects, LINQ-to-XML, and LINQ-to-SQL.
