Speaker: Tom Cooley

The SOLID acronym was devised to highlight some of the better known yet often overlooked object-oriented design principles. In this session, we'll define each of the SOLID principles along with a few others. Using those principles along with well-known design patterns, we'll take some code written in a procedural fashion and refactor it to be more object-oriented. The emphasis will be on eliminating code duplication, increasing code reuse, decoupling, and promoting testability.
