There are a number of .NET Open Source social networking applications that are mature and fully capable of adding cutting-edge community features to any .NET-based website. We're going to review four best-of-breed social networking apps from a developer's perspective, BlogEngine.NET, Gallery Server Pro, Screwturn Wiki and YetAnotherForum.NET, working with them in Visual Studio and demonstrate how to integrate them into existing applications. We will see how they are used together as a single community application in Sueetie, an Online Community Framework for .NET Open Source applications. You can see the apps we'll be covering in action at http://sueetie.org.
